Hazardous substances The European Union’s RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive restricts certain dangerous substances commonly used in electronic and electronic equipment. RoHS compliance requires the testing of all components for the presence of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs). Australian doe does not have a requirement for RoHS however the WILD device has been certified compliant with this EU standard
Electromagnetic Compatibility: Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) compliance ensures the electromagnetic energy generated by all electronic circuits does not cause interference with, or physical damage to, the environment in which it operates. WILD’s device has been certified compliant at Australian regulations (RCM), US regulations (FCC), EU regulations (CE) and Japan regulations (PSE)
Battery standards (safety)
All devices contain batteries required for power. Battery standards are out of scope of the TGO however Li-ion batteries in consumer goods are subject to a series of international safety standards. Our WILD device is tested and certified to these international standards:
IEC 62133-2: the international safety standard for portable sealed secondary cells standard
UN 38.3: UN Transportation Testing requirements for Lithium-ion cells and batteries. (United Nations Manual of Tests and Criteria for the Transport of Dangerous Goods, which requires lithium batteries to pass height simulation, high and low temperature cycling, vibration test, shock test, external short circuit at 55°C, impact test, overcharge test, and forced discharge test before transportation to ensure the safety of lithium batteries)
Device design safety features
Lowest emissions: Reactive unforeseen constituents (aldehydes, formaldehydes, benzene etc.) are generated through high temperature. The lower the heating temperature the lower the amount of constituents that will be created. Traditional heating element is constructed from coiled wire as opposed to WILD’s heating element which is constructed from a solid piece of medical grade stainless steel (certified as SS316L). This coil technology allows our smart device to accurately control temperature. The larger surface combined with ability to control temperature means that liquid can be heated evenly across the surface, at a lower temperature resulting in lower emissions (carbonyl generation), full flavor, improved efficacy & consistent dosage
Dry burn detection: WILD smart device also detects when the e-liquid is running out, preventing overheating and the creation of toxic emissions
Short circuit detection and shutdown: If a short circuit occurs within the device or pod, the device will automatically stop supplying power and shut down
Overuse detection: If continuous vaping for over 8 seconds, the device automatically stops supplying power as per UL8139 certification standard
Crush proof construction: Traditional devices are constructed from lightweight aluminum. Heavy gauge zinc alloy has been used for WILD’s device body giving added protection
Developed in the USA, WILD e-liquids are manufactured under the highest practices & standards in state-or-the-art facilities and rigorously tested ensuring compliance beyond TGO 110 at a global level
Ensuring the highest quality and purity, only US Pharmacopeia grade Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin and Nicotine are used to formulate our liquids.
Flavor formulations are compounded from ingredients defined at a molecular level. Compounding at a molecular level gives us full visibility on all ingredients thereby allowing us the ability to ensure no prohibited or contaminant ingredients used.
Assuring consistency and quality control in a contaminant-free environment, our e-liquids are compounded in an ISO 9001 clean room facility which is fully automated under pharmaceutical cGMP conditions. Further to this, liquids are made utilizing Rockwell PharmaSuite which reinforces consistency and quality control by testing and retaining over 500 data checkpoints all the way to the finished product.

On top of testing for Active Ingredients, Prohibited Ingredients, Contaminants and Microbials (as per TGO 110 standards) we go beyond by test to ensure no Pesticides, Heavy Metals, Solvents, Mycotoxins and VOC substances.
Ensuring that our e-liquids do not pose any risks, we also toxicology studies are conducted on chemical constituents
Finally, we also conduct aerosol testing on the Nicotine levels to ensure consistent dosage
